Emotional Freedom Technique or ‘tapping’ is different from other techniques. It is a gentle and yet powerful therapy to help you release limiting beliefs, negative emotions and upset, trauma and stress and help you feel lighter and free. It can be self-administered in a simple and effective way or be offered as a treatment by a qualified practitioner.
EFT involves tapping areas of the body with your fingertips and serves to release the blockages that are created when you think about or become involved in, negative emotional circumstances. When this blockage is released, the emotions come into balance. Typically, the result is lasting, and your awareness will change in a positive way as a natural result of the healing process.
EFT has been demonstrated to reduce a wide variety of symptoms, these can include such ailments such as pain, sleep issues, anxiety or stress. During the therapy, the power of this technique is placed in your hands so that you can learn to live the happiest, healthiest, and most abundant life.
What to expect in a session
This can be a little daunting but be reassured, I work very gently and at a pace that’s best for you. If any issues or challenges come up that may make you feel uncomfortable, we can work through this without you telling me the details. Be assured, nearly everyone I’ve worked with finds relief from the first session. Over six sessions my aim is to give you the tools and techniques to achieve an emotionally balanced and fulfilling life. Additionally, essential oils can help release repressed feelings so, during the session, the aroma of the oils will be diffused to help to bring about an atmosphere of calm. Wild Orange and Peppermint are perfect oils for this.
